Complaints about HaDSCO

If dissatisfied with the services provided by HaDSCO, please contact the Office in the first instance.

HaDSCO values feedback on its processes, educational materials and service delivery. Feedback can be lodged to HaDSCO via the online feedback form,, by post or by calling (08) 6551 7600 or 1800 813 583.

Improving educational materials

Feedback regarding HaDSCO's educational materials is valued. The materials are periodically republished and at that time feedback will be considered and incorporated. Additional materials can also be requested by contacting the HaDSCO media and communications function.

HaDSCO internal review process

HaDSO's internal review procedure allows the Office to formally assess service provision and the way in which the service was delivered. This process is formal and is undertaken by a senior officer who, wherever possible, has had no prior involvement in the complaint.

The Office will keep the complainant informed of action taken in response to the feedback.

Public Interest Disclosure

The Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003 (the PID Act) provides a way for people to raise concerns about matters of public interest in the public sector without fear of reprisal.

The PID Act was established to encourage openness and accountability in government by providing protection to people, whether they are an employee of a government organisation or a member of the public, who raise concerns about improper or unlawful activities in public authorities.

If you wish to make a disclosure about improper or unlawful conduct you should firstly seek advice from a PID Officer. Contact HaDSCO's PID Officer on (08) 6551 7600 or country free call 1800 813 583 for more information.
